Talking from his home in Silicon Valley, Guy explains what is important about social media, how he plans to monetize his blog and his plans for his next book.

[...] Guy Kawasaki is Jennifer Jones’ latest interviewee for Podtech’s Marketing Voices. Guy dives into social media and talks a bit about the book he is presently writing, tentatively titled “How to Change the World” (how many of you noticed that he changed the name of his blog to reflect this title?). I guess it’s no longer a secret that Guy is one of my favorite bloggers. [...]
If you’ve never read/heard Guy before, do yourself a favor and pick up a book from Amazon and/or your local library. His insight into the impact of marketing on the tech world is so spot-on that it’s scary.
Seems like Guy subscribes to the other ways to make money from blogging than advertising meme.
What was the background sound around 10min in? Does Guy have birds or something?
The sound is actually Guy’s kids outside the house making noises like birds and then
they ran inside. The interview was done inside Guy’s house.
Once again, it’s fantastic to hear Guy speak in his casual, smart way!

In part 2 we will dig into this issue in detail and describe what we believe should be the organization of the future pertaining to these three departments. In the meantime enjoy this podcast below with Guy Kawasaki as a primer. Link to Resource [...]
